As we move into Autumn, that means we can get stuck in at the Common! Keep an eye out for pond digs, ditch clearing and dead-hedging in the future and let us know if you'd like to get involved.

The summer meetings are always tricky as everyone heads out and about, so we had a small meeting of 4 attendees. In light of this, the Minutes also contain updates sent through by the Friends before/after the meeting.

Our next meeting is Saturday 5th September, 10-12 at the Garden Room - see you there!

We had our March Friends Meeting on the 14th, which featured lots of successes: a new Treasurer! a new shed! and lots of new walks! - the first of which was our Spring Bat Walk (now completely sold out, thank you so much everyone!) 

Come and get involved if any of that sounds fun! Our next meeting is 2nd May, 10am-12pm at The Garden Room.

A meeting so jam-packed, we ran out of time!

Follow up meetings/organisation will be held by sub-groups - if you're interested in getting involved in environmental projects, communications, our AGM, funding or even sheds, let us know!

A date to tentatively keep aside is for the New Quab Pond dig - it’s looking like it could be 18th October, 10am - 3pm, but may be changed. We'll update here and our newsletter/facebook when we receive the final word!

​June was a low-attended meeting, so the minutes are more detailed to allow everyone to share their view and catch up.

We had our first meeting of 2025 on the 26th January.

A really detailed discussion with some great news! The biggest was that our plans for a second pond have been approved by the Council and will be fully funded, and our work on a tree walk leaflet has come on leaps and bounds.

Our next meeting will be in mid-late March. Hope to see you there!
