Become a Friend of Horfield Common
We are a volunteer-led group, who always welcome new members... the more members we have, the more we can achieve!

For those of you with a particular interest in wildlife, your passion can make a real difference. By becoming an enthusiastic volunteer member, you will enable us to expand our efforts and take on more projects, ensuring we keep the Common at its best and whilst improving the environment for our local flora and fauna.

Maybe you have practical skills and would love to be involved in general maintenance projects or you have great organisation skills to help run the group. Perhaps you would love to be involved in funding applications, arranging (or presenting!) nature walks, or perhaps you would just like to attend group meetings... there are so many skills and inputs we would welcome.

Becoming a member of FoHC is totally free and you're welcome to join in with as much as you feel comfortable with. No sign-up is needed to attend our group meetings - just come along to the Ardagh at the meeting times - but by joining you can stay up-to-date and become more involved if you want to.

We're always looking for people who would love to be involved in organisation/leading events and would be interested in training as a Bristol Parks Volunteer.

If you're interested in FoHC, either as an individual or as another Parks group that would like to work together, please get in touch!

We meet every other month in the Garden Room at the Ardagh. See our what's on page for details of the next group meeting.
If any of this sounds like you, please get in touch at [email protected]
