Date: 29th September
Time: 10am - 1pm (morning session), 2:30-4:30pm (afternoon session) Location: please meet by green "Horfield Common" sign at the front of The Ardagh, and we'll walk over to the meadow patches together Help prepare the meadow patches around the Common for autumn! The Council will be cutting the meadow patches and then we'll be taking over to rake and move the cuttings, to ensure that the meadow (and not grass!) will grow next year. This is something we really do need all hands on deck for - it's one of our big jobs of the year! Even if you can just spare an hour, it will be a huge help and you get to know you've helped maintain the Common's wonderful biodiversity! Please note that this will be physical work with using tools and wheelbarrows - please bring your own gloves and rakes if you can. To attend, please email us at [email protected] (so we can inform you if we need to reschedule due to weather)
